The Story

From the construction site
to the App Store.

The idea for USELY was born in 2022 in real working life: observing on the construction site and talking to business owners in the personal environment. The path from quote to invoice was the same painful topic everywhere. It costs evenings, is annoying and keeps people from the actual work.

That observation became a first web version, which regional press already reported on back then. Supported by IGZ Würzburg, Brainstation Lauda and Campus Founders, the prototype grew into a well-thought-out product: today a completely newly built, native iOS app, live in the App Store.

USELY is entirely built solo: concept, branding, UI/UX design, iOS development, backend and launch from one source by YG MEDIA from Würzburg, Germany.

2022

The idea is born

Daily life on the construction site becomes a concept: business management and accounting in one process, as simple as a calculator. The first web version goes live, over 2,000 visitors find the site and regional press reports.

2023

Support & development

IGZ Würzburg, Brainstation Lauda and Campus Founders accompany the project. Through intensive conversations and real user feedback, the prototype turns into a clear product vision.

2026

Live in the App Store

USELY is rebuilt from scratch as a native iOS app and launches in the App Store. Legally compliant, GoBD-conform and free to start. Today, self-employed professionals write quotes and invoices with it every day.
